As we come toward the close of our Oasis spring season, join The Oasis Entertainers as they perform their favorite songs from popular Broadway musicals and beyond. Every trimester these enthusiastic singers enroll in “Singing the Show Tunes” and nine weeks later, they take their hour-long show into the community for performances. Led by Jane Ellen, this close-knit community of musicians performs favorite show tunes.

For this April 22 performance, the audience will be entertained by song and dance from The Golden Age of Radio and a Musical World War II Retrospective. With a script by Arthur Alpert, the Oasis Entertainers will be joined by special musical performers “The Andrews Sisters” and surprise “guests” such as Bing Crosby, Bob Hope, Walter Winchell, and Fibber McGee. Great songs from 1941-45 range from “Accentuate the Positive” to “It’s Been a Long, Long Time,” and many more.

All are invited to attend this musical adventure!
