About his work, Bill says:

I’ve spent my life fascinated by wildlife and nature. I actually was able to make a career of being outside. Photography flowed into that life along with the joy in the endless challenges of catching the right moment in the wilds or at an event. Sometimes it’s an act of patience, sometimes it’s being in the right place at the right time, and sometimes it’s a picture in the mind, when I’m just not fast enough. I never know, but there’s happiness in the experience.
