Meg Leonard finds solace in nature, in color, and in the act of painting. Brilliant light and vivid hues of the New Mexico environment are evident in her expressive landscape paintings.
About her work, she says,
“These paintings preserve an experience of being present, observant, open, humbled, meditative. Observation of the natural world reveals magical moments of radiance and shadows of mystery. They are intended to whisper to each viewer’s heart. If they evoke peace, mystery, and wonder, then they are successful.”
